Twitter is now taking more measures to prevent data scrapers from accessing tweet data by blocking non-Twitter users from viewing any tweets.
Tweets Are Visible For Logged-In Users Only
Some tweets can still be viewed outside the app, even without a valid account, thanks to features like tweet embeds and Google Search. Twitter seems to be enhancing its login methods and tightening the reins on third-party access to its service, ensuring users’ privacy and security.
Limiting tweet visibility to signed-in users will not automatically encourage new users to sign up. It is possible that sending a screenshot of a tweet instead of a link may decrease the chances of a non-Twitter user signing up for the service. Without a direct link, users would need to manually type in the URL or search for the content themselves. This may discourage them from joining.
