The AI-based workplace collaboration software Pulse was purchased by Mozilla, the company that publishes Firefox. Pulse protected users’ privacy while using machine learning to assist in learning their work habits. Machine learning knowledge can be leveraged to create consumer (and possibly commercial) goods that prioritize privacy. I can’t wait to see what we build, he wrote.
