During its WWDC digital event, Apple confirmed the contents of earlier rumors about its upcoming AR/VR gear. The gear is called Apple Vision Pro and will be available next year starting at $3,499.
Apple Vision Pro
You can use your hands, eyes, and voice to operate the Vision Pro. The cutting-edge augmented reality technology built into the headset gives the impression that apps and movies are actually present in the user’s physical environment. Apple showed how their headset can create a virtual world that users can focus on instead of their real surroundings, like other VR headsets.
Thankfully, the Vision Pro is compatible with a wide variety of iOS devices. Unity-created games and apps will have a smooth transition to the new headset’s operating system, thanks to Apple’s collaboration with the platform.
A base model will set you back a whopping $3,499, and it won’t be available until “early next year”.
