Google Ads has introduced a number of new features to help marketers increase ROI with more effective video ads, track the impact of their efforts to increase conversions, and improve campaign performance.
Brand exclusions at the campaign level are one of the new capabilities Google is pushing out, giving advertisers more say over their Performance Max ads.
Marketers may now select from a predetermined list of brands to which their brand phrases should not appear. Most misspelled brand names and brand searches conducted in a language other than English will be thwarted by this function.
The exclusions will further protect advertisers’ brand safety by preventing branded searches on Search and Shopping inventory from showing up in their Performance Max campaigns.
Other changes Google introduced were related to Page Feeds, Video Creation, Reporting & Insights.
