Instagram is currently developing a new feature that will allow users to celebrate their birthday with a special photo effect that will be displayed on the user’s profile on the birthday.

As shared by Alessandro Paluzzi, the new feature shows how to add a birthday effect to your profile image, alerting your friends and family to the fact that you are celebrating your birthday, a similar feature of how birthday reminders work on Facebook.
More and more features are being added to Instagram to improve the user experience. Recently Top 3 was added and suggested content menu are few of the features Instagram has now.
