Meta announced that it would be expanding its collaboration with the NBA and WNBA to stream live games, content and ads in VR on Meta Quest.
Meta and NBA Partnership
Through its Xtadium product and Meta Horizon Worlds, they will provide access to live NBA games, in a 180-degree view using the Meta Quest headset, the NBA’s official headset.
NBA fans will now be able to watch NBA content together using an NBA League Pass subscription. They can also gather in the NBA Arena to cheer on their favorite teams. Viewers will be able to watch exclusive content through the app in the future, according to Meta.
