Instagram’s looking to better highlight the rising creative opportunities of its metaverse push. Two new art installations will use mixed reality elements in their presentation.
Meta’s Art Projects
First, there will be a “Meta House” activation for Miami Art Week (December 1-3), which will feature mixed reality works by up-and-coming artists like COVL, YONK, and others.
The second is a display of Tomás Karmelo Amaya’s artwork that will also feature augmented reality components. Both are efforts by Meta to strengthen its relationships with creative communities.
It will be interesting to watch where Meta takes this and whether it actually works to attract more upcoming artists to its many digital channels.
Additionally, for marketers, it can be useful to offer some advice on the innovative possibilities for your own campaigns, both now and in the future.
