A total of $65 million has now been invested in the in-game advertising firm Anzu after a $48 million Series B round of funding.
The company wants to hire more people in Tel Aviv, the US, and Japan. Brands including American Eagle, Levi’s, Samsung, and Vodafone have all employed Anzu’s technology in video games. In-game advertising now has credibility according to the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s recent revision of its measurement guidelines.
With no capacity for more players in AAA premium content, Anzu’s business is focused on acquiring ad inventory within HD AAA title games for consoles.
