YouTube TV introduced a new “multiview” function that lets users simultaneously watch four different streams of sporting events. Apple TV appears to be developing a comparable feature at present.

Apple’s bets on streaming sports programming, such as its historic first-ever live sports partnership with Major League Baseball, are likely to have contributed to this. Apple has announced a 10-year streaming contract with Major League Soccer that will begin in 2023 and will allow the company to stream every MLS match.
But, Apple has withdrawn from negotiations to acquire the rights to the NFL Sunday Ticket. Multiview, which looks to be connected to Apple’s TV app and could be requested when viewing sports material in the app, has been discovered in a newly released iOS source.
