Google updated its smart TV OS, Google TV, which runs on Google Chromecast devices and a variety of TVs, with the intention of making more legally-free streaming content available to more people.

Google TV’s Live page has been revamped to include access to additional free streaming channels like Tubi, Plex, and Pluto TV. There are now more than 800 free live TV channels available in this category, including channels like NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX News networks.
Google says its move will make Google TV the only platform to offer more than 1,000 free channels in a single EPG.
Google recognizes that FAST channels, in contrast to ad-supported video, provide a more typical cable TV-like experience, with material streaming live as you tune in. It’s simple to get started with FAST channels because many of them do not necessitate accounts to begin viewing.
