Instagram has introduced a new method to look back on the last year with year-end summary templates for 2022 Reels, complete with celebrity voice-overs.
2022 Reels
Viewers will be encouraged to “Create Your 2022 Recap Reel” while watching. When turned on, it will walk you through the steps of compiling all of your year’s worth of posts and videos into a specialized Reels template.
Instagram will keep their 2022 retrospective templates live for a few weeks into 2023. Your highlight reel will always be accessible in the Reels section of your Instagram profile after you’ve posted it.
