Meta is exploring a paid blue checkmark program, much like Twitter‘s for Instagram and Facebook personal and business profiles.

Despite not doing particularly well on Twitter, the Twitter Blue model of charging users for verification is apparently being considered at Meta as well.
An expert in mobile development and reverse engineering named Alessandro Paluzzi has discovered a new reference to a “blue badge” in the Facebook and Instagram source code which he shared with Techcrunch.
