As Mark Zuckerberg‘s drive Meta to save money causes turmoil within the social media business, Meta has postponed settling the budgets while it anticipates a new wave of massive layoffs.
Meta’s Budget Delayed
According to the Financial Times‘s sources, two Meta employees with knowledge of the situation have complained about the lack of information on budgets and future staffing. Employees claim that bosses are incapable of organizing their assignments, resulting in “zero work” actually being done.
Key areas like advertising and the metaverse used to take a couple of days to approve projects, but now it takes up to a month, according to those employees.
