Meta has started the removal of few important fields in Facebook Profiles such as Address, Religion, Political Views and Sexual Preference.
Users who filled out the following fields will receive alerts from Meta informing them that their accounts will shortly be updated by the removal of those fields.
Therefore, if you entered this information, it will soon be deleted and will not be visible to visitors to your Facebook profile.
But surely that will affect ad targeting, right? You won’t be able to use a person’s religious affiliation as an ad element when building your audience if they are unable to list it.
Actually, Meta already did away with all of these factors as ad targeting possibilities when it revised its data options earlier this year.
