Meta’s Twitter replacement app is getting closer to launch. The text-based chat stream now has its own icon in the experimental version.

Alessandro Paluzzi, an app researcher, discovered the icon that users would soon see on their devices. It has a Twitter-like color scheme while yet maintaining the Instagram gradient style.
Meta has been developing a platform to replace Twitter, despite user anger towards Elon Musk’s changes to the service. Once again, Meta has identified an opportunity and, given Instagram’s societal influence, seems to be aiming to invade Twitter’s domain, with the goal of attracting a substantial user base.
