Microsoft and OpenAI announced the third phase of their partnership, involving billions of dollars to bring AI technology to Microsoft’s search engine Bing and other applications.

The exceptional breakthrough of OpenAI’s technology (ChatGPT) will help Microsoft to enhance expenditures in the creation and deployment of specialized supercomputing platforms. It will also increase Microsoft revenue coming from ads and enterprise level applications.
Microsoft will help their customers build and deploy their AI systems on a global scale. They will also continue to expand the AI infrastructure in Azure. Azure will be the exclusive cloud computing power behind all OpenAI’s operations, according to the partnership.
Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s Chairman and CEO said in a statement “We formed our partnership with OpenAI around a shared ambition to responsibly advance cutting-edge AI research and democratize AI as a new technology platform. In this next phase of our partnership, developers and organizations across industries will have access to the best AI infrastructure, models, and toolchain with Azure to build and run their applications.”.
