Snapchat has released a new ad campaign that capitalizes on the peculiar nature of its recent augmented reality (AR) fads by showcasing a variety of strange effects.

The slogan says, “we want to show you the world the way Snapchatters do.” 72% of daily active Snapchatters use augmented reality features, and that number is only expected to rise.
However, it must do more than simply demonstrate the app’s functionality; it must also pique the users’ curiosity and encourage them to continue using the app.
