Pinterest launched a new ad format for travel marketers called “Travel Catalogs.” It will be available this Summer. Additionally, they are expanding “Premiere Spotlight” ads to more businesses.

Premiere Spotlight, which Pinterest previewed in March for the first time. Advertisers can virtually take over the app’s Search tab has advertisements called Premiere Spotlight. They show a video that fills up to half of the tab’s display area.
According to Pinterest: “For travellers on Pinterest, it will be easier than ever to go from a Pinterest board, to booking. When someone clicks on an ad uploaded from Travel Catalogs, they’ll navigate directly to the booking site for that specific listing.”.
Pinterest now offers Travel Catalogs ad option for hotels and rental brands to upload their whole catalog and turn it into dynamic product ads.
