Reddit issued its 2022 Transparency Report, detailing all of the efforts the platform took to enforce its rules or comply with government demands, and opened a Transparency Center mini-site to provide greater information about its enforcement activities and tools.

Reddit’s Transparency Center will serve as a hub for the platform’s policies and procedures regarding user protection and content removal. Spam, bigotry, harassment, and even mild sexual references are leading to an upsurge in content removals on Reddit.
More subreddits were made in 2022, and the site got 212 take-down requests from government and law enforcement agencies.
