Snowflake recently acquired Neeva, a search engine that has previously been in operation. Snowflake intends to use Neeva’s AI search technology in its products soon.

Rather than relying just on the search engine’s accuracy and relevancy, NeevaAI leverages the capability of huge language models like ChatGPT.
Neeva AI said in their announcement: “Today, we are excited to announce that Neeva is joining Snowflake. In addition to building a native web scale search stack from the ground up, Neeva has led the way in applying generative AI to the search experience in a way that preserves authenticity and privacy, while providing citable and real time AI. We are excited to bring our expertise in search, AI and LLMs to Snowflake’s customers to help them safely and effectively realize the power of their data.”.
This comes just a short while after Neeva AI terminated its ad-free search engine operations.
