Telegram CEO Pavel Durov unveiled Stories in early July today. Durov said Telegram receives more than half of its feature requests for Stories, which users have been requesting for years.
Users may now adjust the appearance of their stories on Telegram thanks to the new feature called Stories. Users have the option of seeing them for everyone, specific contacts, or close pals. If you move someone to the “Hidden” list in their Contacts area, stories will be hidden and placed in a section that can expand at the top of the chat list. In their Stories, users can tag other people and add captions and links. Similar to Instagram’s Story highlights, Stories can also be featured permanently on the profile page.
The Telegram team is skeptical of the functionality, which is scheduled to launch in the first week of July. The function is anticipated to usher in a new age for Telegram and enhance its social aspects.
