With people leaving twitter and people seeking safe social media platform to express themselves, Hive is a new app that was developed by two college students with a new vision for social media.
What is Hive App?
As a result of the turmoil at Twitter, sign-ups for the social app Hive are increasing. Due to a spike in interest recently as Twitter’s situation continued to deteriorate, the app is currently ranked in the top 20 on the U.S. App Store.
Hive was started in 2019 by Kassandra Pop, who was 22 at the time. It is not a Twitter clone if you’re asking. Rather, the Gen Z-focused social app was described as blending ideas from several social networks, including Instagram, Twitter, and even MySpace.
Additionally, unlike Twitter, the app is not entirely dependent on timelines. Hive users can explore their interests outside of the main feed in a variety of topic-based communities, including those for science, technology, cars, music, fashion, pets, crafts, books, travel, gaming, art, food, and many others. Similar to other social networks, users can like, comment on, and repost the content.
