In an effort to further standardize how tweets are evaluated, Twitter has introduced yet another visible metric. Next to a tweet’s retweet, quote retweet, and like counts, there is now a bookmarks count metric.
Twitter’s Bookmark for Tweets
For now, the bookmarks counter is only available on iOS, but Twitter says they are working to make it available on other platforms as well.
Some Twitter users were concerned about privacy and who will be able to see those bookmarks and whether they’re publicly available. Twitter assured them that Bookmarks would remain private.
