Twitter Case In The UK
A law firm called Winckworth Sherwood sent Twitter a letter earlier this week. They said the company had broken UK law by allowing access to employees without giving them enough warning. The letter also claims that Twitter has been uncommunicative regarding the criteria used to make the layoff decisions.
According to the letter, if the 43 UK employees do not follow the layoff process, they will take the matter to an Employment Tribunal. This is the UK mechanism for employees to take legal action against their employers.
