Twitter is re-launching its creator subscription program, which will enable users to earn money from their tweets and establish themselves as businesses within the app.

If a Twitter user has many active followers, he/she can monetize their content through subscriptions. If they provide a Subscription, their followers can pay to get access to exclusive, personalized Tweets. Subscribers can be easily identified by having a badge showing they are subscribers.
According to Twitter: “People in the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Japan who meet the eligibility requirements can apply to participate in the Subscriptions program. Subscriptions purchases are currently available globally on Twitter for iOS and Android, as well as on twitter.com in the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Japan.”.
This will encourage users from other social media platforms to join the creator subscription program and increase engagement and content quality.
