Users are starting to worry about Twitter’s reliability as more and more of its functions experience technical difficulties.
Glitches Worry The Users
Users can no longer see posts from people who have blocked them, posing a privacy concern. Many users’ tweets no longer appear with a green banner indicating that they’re part of Circle.
Instead, you can tell that a post was sent to Circle because it becomes unable to be retweeted. Twitter’s privacy-focused feature, Twitter Circle, seems to be glitchy now. Some users have tweeted that their Circle tweets have been posted publicly.
It poses a real privacy concern if users cannot fully control who their audience is. Yoel Roth, Twitter’s former head of trust and safety, warned that “If protected tweets stop working, run”.
