WhatsApp is updating its chat features to enhance user participation and contextual awareness; this may lead to new types of messaging interactions.
WhatsApp Poll
Single-vote polls are being rolled out by WhatsApp, allowing users to limit the number of times a conversation member can vote in a poll. Other features are being introduced such as “Forwarding with Captions” and “Sharing Documents with Captions”.
For the single-vote polls WhatsApp said “For when you need a definitive answer, we’re introducing the option for poll creators to allow people to vote only once. Simply turn off ‘allow multiple answers’ when creating a poll.”.
WhatsApp is also making it possible now to forward pictures, videos and documents with captions.
