In a news release, Unilever and TikTok established a global partnership around the social platform’s popular hashtag, #CleanTok, to tap into Gen Z’s enthusiasm for cleaning.
To adapt its home care products for a younger audience, Unilever has partnered with TikTok. The #CleanTok hashtag sprang to fame during the pandemic and has since received 79 billion views with a growth rate of 63% annually. With more creator partnerships to follow, the partnership will start with @chrisjoyz, @mumukdaneno, and @senalicann.
The UK, Vietnam, Turkey, Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand, France, the Netherlands, Argentina, and Indonesia will all be involved in the cooperation. The #CleanTok trend could increase awareness of Unilever’s portfolio and encourage sales.
