Last year, in September 2021, Microsoft tested video advertisements in a few nations around the world. the video ads were available to advertisers in US, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.
Microsoft video advertising are targeted based on user browsing behaviour, LinkedIn, and intent data from Bing search and the Microsoft Edge browser.
According to tests, Microsoft found that including video in search campaign optimization increased conversions by 50% when compared to conducting search campaigns alone.
