Anthropic has launched Claude 3.5 Sonnet, the first release in the forthcoming Claude 3.5 model family. This new model sets a new industry standard for intelligence, outperforming both competitor models and the previous Claude 3 Opus across a wide range of evaluations, while maintaining the speed and cost efficiency of the mid-tier Claude 3 Sonnet.
Claude 3.5 Sonnet is now accessible for free on Claude.ai and the Claude iOS app. Subscribers to the Claude Pro and Team plans benefit from significantly higher rate limits. Additionally, the model is available via the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Cloud’s Vertex AI. The pricing is set at $3 per million input tokens and $15 per million output tokens, with a 200K token context window.
