The airline is benefiting from the increase in travel since the outbreak.
EasyJet’s Marketing Activities
Over 2022, EasyJet increased its marketing budget by £37 million. Overall selling and marketing expenses rose to £173 million from £60 million in 2021.
Sales and distribution expenses totalled an extra £76 million. In March, the airline unveiled its first pan-European advertising since the outbreak. Up from 20 million in 2021, EasyJet has flown close to 70 million passengers in the previous year.
Compared to the previous year’s £1.5bn, the company’s total revenue climbed by 296% to £5.7bn. The airline’s package vacation division, EasyJet Holidays, is up 83% from 2019 levels.
