Elon Musk has announced that Twitter is working on launching three colors for verified accounts. Blue for individuals, gold for companies and gray for government.

More information on the upcoming redesign of Twitter’s $8 ($7.99) verification program has been provided by Elon Musk. The program was previously introduced few weeks ago but was later halted from live production as a result of several impersonations that significantly confused users of the app.
In a recent tweet, Elon Musk apologized for the delay in launching the verification program and he announced the colors of the new verification system. Additionally he added that a manual verification will be needed for check mark appears.
