Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri revealed the new GIF feature during a Broadcast Channels conversation with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

In the comment section of Instagram posts, you can now search for and share GIFs from Giphy. And yet, Mosseri did point out that it’s “a bit of a ‘finally’ feature,” so maybe it’s not too late after all.
The most recent update to Instagram app allows users to include GIFs in the app’s comment section.
