A Google memo was leaked which explains why the company is losing to open source AI. It also suggests ways for Google to regain its previous dominant position and control over the platform.

In the opening paragraph of the memo, it is stated that their rival has never been OpenAI and always will be Open Source. In addition, they concede that they are unable to compete with open source, therefore conceding the AI supremacy battle.
The majority of the leaked memo is devoted to explaining why open source is superior to Google. In the memo, the author concedes that Google currently holds a slight edge over open source, but acknowledges that this advantage is vanishing quickly and cannot be regained.
