Mondeløz brand Oreo and Nintendo have collaborated on a limited-edition Super Mario-themed cookie and interactive mission.
To stay current with younger generations and avoid linear TV advertising, Mondelez has teamed up with Nintendo. Oreo and Chips Ahoy!, two of the company’s snack brands, is turning 60 and rising to the top among Gen Z consumers. To save Princess Peach and the Mushroom Kingdom, shoppers must find Bowser and beat him in a cookie-based scavenger hunt inspired by Super Mario games.
The video game, “Super Mario Bros. Wonder,” is scheduled to be released towards the end of the year. In order to advertise a limited-edition cookie in the metaverse, Oreo has also teamed up with Martha Stewart.
