LinkedIn has officially rolled out its new in-stream games, offering users a refreshing break from their daily work routines.
The initial lineup includes three games: Crossclimb, Pinpoint, and Queens, all curated by LinkedIn News. Users can access these games through the News module on their LinkedIn homepage, the MyNetwork tab, or directly through the provided links. Each game can be played once per day, with leaderboards fostering friendly competition among connections.
Additionally, LinkedIn’s News team will initiate daily conversations around the games, accompanied by weekly stats and gameplay discussions in a dedicated newsletter by Games Editor Paolo Pasco, renowned as the recent winner of the Annual American Crossword Puzzle Tournament.
Melissa Bannon, Vice President Direct to Consumer and Value Chain Innovation at LG said “Games are such a great tool to exercise your mind, and an even better tool to create bonds with family, friends, co-workers by engaging in healthy competition, better understanding thought process/personality and fostering collaboration.”
LinkedIn’s introduction of in-stream games aligns with the evolving trends in social platforms, offering users engaging and interactive experiences beyond professional networking. This move not only adds a fun element to the platform but also enhances user engagement and community interaction, fostering a more dynamic and connected LinkedIn experience.
