The length limit for Facebook Reels has been increased, an integration with Memories was added, and new trending Reels templates have been introduced. These new updates were announced by Meta.
Longer Reel Clips
Previously, videos on Meta’s Reels service could only be 60 seconds long, but now they can be 90 seconds long. They’re also adding Grooves, which syncs your video to the beat of the music you pick, and a ‘Share as Reel’ option from the Memories prompt.
At long last, they’re bringing the option to use Reels templates to Facebook, making it simpler to imitate popular video styles and formats.
With views on Reels more than doubling over the past year and reshares of Reels also doubling, across both Facebook and Instagram, Reels has been a huge success for Meta.
