Longer tweets of up to 4,000 characters in length have been made available to Twitter Blue customers in the United States.
Another Feature For Twitter Blue Users
When a tweet is too long to fit into the regular feed’s width, a ‘Show more…’ button will appear to let readers know where they can find the rest of the message.
Regular features, such as media uploading, poll making, and hashtag use, are all still accessible, but only Blue subscribers can make them.
Elon Musk believes that allowing users to upload long-form content would attract more influential voices and lead to new ways to monetize the app.
While Twitter is expanding its offering into other markets, it is hard to imagine it catching on since only a small percentage of Twitter’s 250 million total user base is paying for a blue tick.
