OpenAI unveiled GPT-4, the latest version of its flagship AI language model, which the company claims displays advanced performance across a range of industry benchmarks.
GPT-4 AI Model Released
Because it has been developed on far more data, ChatGPT-4 is more expensive to run than earlier versions of ChatGPT (GPT 3). It also includes greater variables in its model.
OpenAI stated that it trained GPT-4 using Microsoft Azure server; Microsoft has invested billions in ChatGPT. OpenAI did not reveal the exact size of their AI model or the technology it used to train it so that it could not be replicated.
On their website, OpenAI said: “GPT-4’s advanced reasoning and instruction-following capabilities expedited our safety work. We used GPT-4 to help create training data for model fine-tuning and iterate on classifiers across training, evaluations, and monitoring.“.
