The report indicates that 90% of marketers worldwide are planning to increase or sustain their investment in short-form videos for the current year.

Another report from HubSpot, the 2023 Social Media Marketing Report shows that social media marketers are gearing up to heavily emphasize short-form video content this year. The report surveyed over 1,000 marketers, revealing that 33 percent of them intend to prioritize investment in this relatively recent format during 2023. Brands that get the formula right can leverage strong and highly engaging content that resonates with millions of its users.

Let’s face it, attention spans are officially at an all-time low. Here is why you should be making the most of your short-form content.

  • Highly tractable content: It is straightforward to hop on to trends and create flashy, eye-catching videos on various topics in a digestible format.
  • Easy-to-consume content: Short-form videos can compress large swathes of information into under a minute, making it easy for users to consume more content.
  • Cost-effective approach for high-quality video: Short-form videos are much easier to create than long-form and can be broken up into different parts for better reach.
