Engineers And Filmmakers Collaborate
To convey a tale, Toyota put a camera on the GR Corolla and drove around a racetrack, taking still photographs of the barriers and animating them in post-production. With his winning entry, Toby Pike of Scoundrel combines engineering and filmmaking to portray the tale of Toyota’s racing history.
The success of “Metalmorphosis” is a testament to the effectiveness of non-CGI filmmaking methods.
