YouTube reinstated the former U.S. President Donald Trump’s YouTube account by reversing the restrictions applied during the raid on the U.S. Capitol Hill event.

Ahead of his upcoming U.S. 2024 election campaign, Donald Trump now has access to the four major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube) from which he had been suspended.
In a statement by YouTube, they said: “Starting today, the Donald J. Trump channel is no longer restricted and can upload new content. We carefully evaluated the continued risk of real-world violence, while balancing the chance for voters to hear equally from major national candidates in the run up to an election. This channel will continue to be subject to our policies, just like any other channel on YouTube.”.
