Amazon has introduced a new feature, Amazon Haul, which offers a wide range of ultra-affordable products for U.S. customers. Accessible through the Amazon Shopping app and mobile website, Haul is a curated collection of fashion, home goods, electronics, and more, all priced at $20 or less, with most items under $10.
The service is backed by Amazon’s A-to-z Guarantee and offers delivery times of one to two weeks.
Amazon Haul has its own shopping interface, allowing customers to explore low-cost items and save even more when bundling orders. Discounts of 5% apply to orders over $50, while orders over $75 receive 10% off.
Additionally, orders of $25 or more qualify for free delivery, while smaller orders incur a $3.99 fee.
Dharmesh Mehta, Vice President at Amazon said: “Finding great products at very low prices is important to customers, and we continue to explore ways that we can work with our selling partners so they can offer products at ultra-low prices. Amazon Haul aims to help make shopping for fashion, home, lifestyle, electronics, and other products even more fun, easy, and affordable, all backed by Amazon’s A-to-z product guarantee so customers can shop with confidence that the products they’re purchasing are safe, authentic, and in the condition expected. It’s early days for this experience, and we’ll continue to listen to customers as we refine and expand it in the weeks and months to come.”
Examples of products include a three-piece razor set for $2.99, a women’s cinch belt for $1.99, and touchscreen gloves for $3.21.
Returns on items priced $3 or more are free within 15 days, with convenient drop-off options at locations like Amazon Fresh, UPS, and Kohl’s.
Amazon Haul focuses on ensuring product safety and authenticity by screening items for compliance and protecting purchases under the A-to-z Guarantee.
The initiative caters to shoppers seeking affordable options, especially for items that don’t require immediate delivery.
Amazon Haul is an interesting move to attract budget-conscious consumers while broadening the platform’s appeal.
For marketers, it highlights the growing importance of tapping into value-driven shopping habits, particularly in an economic climate where affordability resonates with buyers.
