TikTok is trying to keep advertisers spending money on the platform regardless of what happens in Washington’s upcoming Congress hearing.

As part of its efforts to convince the advertising industry, TikTok held a private meeting with advertisers in New York City last month. During the meeting, they detailed the company’s plans to address the government’s concerns, according to a report from The Information.
TikTok is also trying to gather support from the TikTok community. Shou Chew, TikTok’s CEO, sends a positive message before his testimony with Congress later this week, thanking the American TikTokers 150 million of them who use the app.
His message generated a lot of positive responses from the TikTok community.
