Anheuser-Busch’s connection with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney has prompted a conservative-led boycott of the company’s products, including Bud Light, and Donald Trump Jr. has called for an end to the boycott.

He claimed that while Anheuser-Busch leaned to the right in their political contributions, other brewers were far worse offenders. When conservatives found out that Bud Light had teamed with a transgender TikTok star for the NCAA basketball tournament, they began calling for a boycott of the beer brand.
Mulvaney announced a Bud Light-sponsored Instagram contest and displayed a custom Bud Light can. Both Kid Rock and Travis Tritt have stated that they will no longer serve Anheuser-Busch products on their tours. Since she has only recently transitioned, Mulvaney claims she is an “easy target” for criticism.
