Bing Chat, under the leadership of CEO Mikhail Parakhin, has now expanded its compatibility to support Google’s Chrome browser. Parakhin shared on X, “Chrome is shipped a 100%,” indicating full functionality and compatibility for Bing Chat on Chrome.
Furthering its reach, Bing Chat is also in the testing phase for Apple’s Safari browser. While currently limited, Parakhin has hinted at a near-future release, stating, “Working on Safari, hopefully will release soon.“
This move signifies Bing’s strategic approach to enhance Bing Chat’s availability across prominent browsers. By doing so, Bing paves the way for a wider audience to experience and potentially embrace Bing Chat, influencing search preferences and habits.
Those who previously hesitated to explore Bing Chat due to its exclusive support for the Edge browser can now indulge in its offerings using Chrome.
This strategic expansion by Bing not only boosts its user accessibility but also heats up the competition in the chat and search market. By extending support to widely used browsers like Chrome and Safari, Bing Chat is gearing up to position itself as a strong contender in the search chat sphere.
