Using OpenAI’s GPT technology, Snapchat has updated its ‘My AI’ chatbot tool, allowing Snapchat+ users to ask the bot questions and receive responses within the app.

Snap plans to improve the security of its My AI feature by adding more protections and measures. For this purpose, they have been checking questions and answers for ‘non-conforming’ language. This term refers to any text that may include references to violence, sexually explicit terms, illegal drugs, child sexual abuse, bullying, hate speech, derogatory or biased statements, racism, sexism, or other forms of discrimination.
They will also be able to temporarily disable users’ access to My AI if they abuse the service thanks to Open AI’s moderation technology, which will be added to their current collection of tools.
