According to Elon Musk, Twitter will provide the public with their source code for Twitter’s feed algorithm next week (March 31, 2023) to gather feedback to enhance the platform.

Musk has been promising for a while now that Twitter would release useful information about its algorithm. This would shed light on the factors that determine which tweets go viral, how to increase a tweet’s participation and thus its reach, and what features Twitter is trying to promote.
Musk believes that disclosing Twitter’s source code is sure going to be embarrassing because of the gaps it contains but, it should ultimately result in a significant rise in the quality of the algorithm.
