After June 26th, users will no longer be able to add new Stories, and any previously posted Stories will disappear after seven days.
Stories Feature
In 2017, YouTube made its Stories feature accessible to users with more than 10,000 followers. However, access was restricted, and few producers were consistently sharing Stories.
YouTube hopes its producers would use Community Posts and Shorts instead of Stories now that the feature has been discontinued.
Under a new monetization strategy introduced in February, YouTube has begun splitting ad income from Shorts with artists.
