YouTube just revealed two new ad placements that will make it easier for advertisers to capitalize on developing music trends, such as Coachella 2023.

The first ad placement YouTube introduced is called “Gen Z Music,” and will let companies promote their products alongside popular music videos.
YouTube’s second ad placement, “Trending Music Shorts“, will provide the same promotion as “Gen Z Music” but specifically for YouTube Shorts.
The introduction of these new ad placements will be a game changer for Advertisers and YouTube. YouTube’s music library boasts 100 million records, with global and regional versions of hit songs in over 100 countries and 80 languages, according to YouTube.
